Our beautiful house is comfortably furnished, spacious, and elegant with beautiful views of the mountains from every large window, with a large outside deck where you can barbeque with family and friends, or just relax and enjoy spectacular scenery. It also offers hot tubs, and inside pool located within walking distance at the lodge.

Located just 30 minutes from downtown Durango, easy driving distance to Mesa Verde National Park, and historical mining town of Silverton, Colorado. World famous skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, water rafting, and the famous Durango-Silverton Railroad awaits you.

Whether planning a perfect winter get-a-way of skiing and snowboarding or wanting to just relax in the mountains, while exploring the surrounding areas, to a family vacation, family reunion, wedding, honeymoon, or anniversary, let us share in making your time in Durango, a memorable one.

Durango Mountain Resort is in southwest Colorado and is 26 miles north of Durango, served by that town's airport 350 miles from Denver, with flights from several other major cities. It is near many of Colorado's most popular attractions such as the Durango-Silverton train ride, ancient Indian ruins at Mesa Verde National Park, Telluride, the historic mining towns of Silverton and Ouray, gambling at nearby Sky Ute Casino and some of the state's most scenic drives.

Durango is a world-famous tourist destination with many first-class services available. It's a historic mining town with with a colorful history, and many of its charming Victorian buildings have been preserved. Durango Mountain is not a mega ski resort, but it offers excellent skiing and facilities at reasonable rates. The view from the Legends summit is considered one of the best in Colorado, with several 14,000-foot mountains visible.

The ski area has 75 trails and nearly 750 acres (26% advanced, 51% intermediate, 23% beginner). The highest lift goes to 10,820 feet and the longest run is two miles. Snowboarding and Nordic skiing are available. Cross country at Mesa Verde is unique and popular. Child care and children's lessons are also available.

Just 20 miles down the mountain you will enjoy historic Durango with its fabulous shopping, art galleries, and dining. Turn back the clock and experience the historical Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
